The metal world needed an album like Satellite in , just like it needed a band like P.O.D. to challenge longtime metal heavyweights like Tool and Korn for supremacy. The spiritual, emotional band writes songs about promise and hope -- songs that inspire you to celebrate life, not despise it.

P.O.D. is a Christian nu-metal band that mixes the elements of hard-hitting guitar riffs and drumming with hip-hop verses thrown in the blend with a great Christian theme. Ironically, Satellite was released on 9/11 (I'm NOT joking). The album starts off with the heavy-hitting Set It Off.

"It's a Masterpiece Conspiracy" I'd rather hear it from you than be lied to Call it what it is like the heathens do Red lights of betrayal, deceived again Exposed by the light, true colors ascend Take down the regime, break the trend Bumrushed by your peers and your so-called friends Keep your people tight, watch your enemies close.
